Pulido Residence

The floating rectilinear frame is invoked in the design of the Pulido Residence. In this instance, a decorative architectural grille is inset within the frame to provide privacy and sun-protection. The aluminum grille invokes a mid-century motif which reflects the owner’s thematic preferences which are also consistent with the home’s interiors. Set on a deep lot with several impressive oak trees, this Miami home has a formal entry sequence via a u-shaped courtyard. As one approaches the front entrance, the floating rectilinear frame appears to rest upon the home’s two lower wings. The lower level features a formal living room and dining room, along with the kitchen, den, office, carport, and guest bedroom. The private bedrooms are located upstairs. In the rear yard there is a covered terrace, pool, and cabana.
